An alternate stucco wall system providing a rapid construction, energy efficient wall for residential and commercial structures.

One 80-pound sack of Expo Fibrewall covers approximately 10 square yards at 3/8-inch thickness.

Expo Fibrewall is a proprietary compound of portland cement, hydrated lime, chopped fiber and other additives. Fibrewall concentrate is mixed with washed plaster sand and water on the jobsite.

Expo Fibrewall "One-Coat" system is designed to be a single, fiber-reinforced 'brown' coat that can be finished on the following day, saving at least 1/3 the time of a conventional plaster schedule.

Expo Fibrewall provides an energy-saving R-19 wall in a system of 2 x 4 studs, 1-inch foam insulation board, R-13 batts and 1/2-inch drywall. Expo Fibrewall provides superior tensile strength, abrasion and chemical resistance, crack resistance, resistance to freeze/thaw conditions, impermeability and solid bonding to the substrate.

Three (3) months if kept in dry condition.

Expo Fibrewall can be applied over a wide variety of substrates including polystyrene foam insulation board, gypsum sheathing and plywood.

Expo Fibrewall should be mixed mechanically at a ratio of one 80-pound sack to 240 pounds of washed plaster sand and 4 1/2 to 6 gallons of clean water. Mix for at least five minutes.

Expo Fibrewall is applied to a minimum thickness of 3/8-inch by hand or machine. The following finish sequence is recommended when machine applied:

  1. Darby, being careful not to overwork.
  2. Even the surface with a trowel.
  3. Allow Fibrewall to "take-up" (about 1/2 to 1 hour). Finish with rubber float.

Expo Fibrewall is self-curing under moderate weather conditions. If the temperature is above 70ºF, or if the weather is windy and dry, water cure to assure complete hydration of the cement plaster.

If required, finish coat may be applied within 24 hours after the base coat has been adequately cured.
